The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) has taken the decision to restart the West Indies Rising Stars Cricket U17 Championship after the first two rounds were completely bowled.
The tournament began on Tuesday in Trinidad with all matches abandoned as heavy rains hampered play.
On Thursday, the second round of the championship was also lost after heavy overnight rain prevented play from starting on time at 9.30am before further rain brought another abandonment.
The tournament was due to resume on Saturday with Round 3, however, the matches in Round 1 will now be played instead, with Round 2 played on Monday.
