Postcards from the most extraordinary places in the Caribbean
Turners Beach – near Johnson Point on the southwest coast of Antigua – is a stunner…and delightfully accessible. Although popular on Sundays, it is much quieter during the week. You’d be forgiven if you just wanted to laze around – enjoying the cool breeze; sparkling soft white sand; and calm, clear ocean waters that are a mesmerizing shade of blue. This makes for wonderful snorkeling. Back on land, there are the ruins of a small fort to investigate, plus plenty of good food, drink and lodging options nearby.
