Twitter now allows you to see latest tweets instead of its recommendation algorithms / Digital Information World

Twitter is currently updating the app to help users easily switch between its technically designed home page and the page that displays all the “latest” tweets. Usually, when users need to go to the next page, they have to click on the “spark” button, which is present at the top right corner of the screen, and then to go back to the previous pages, they’re asked to repeat the same action. However, starting today on Apple devices, if they click that button, they will receive a choice to fix homepage and all the latest news feeds will be available to them on the homepage so they can easily switch between the two feeds with just one swipe.

Twitter said the new update will make the feature much more visible and convenient to use. Moreover, they say that it will be easy for the user to know and recognize which resource he is moving now.

The technology company makes significant changes when they are under constant pressure from higher authorities about their algorithmic recommender systems and the obscurity of their internal operations. A bipartisan group of US lawmakers proposed the Filter Bubble Transparency Act, which would involve tech companies presenting a version of their social networking forum that doesn’t collect user information to provide suggestions. This proposal was to benefit those users who do not want company recommendations, as they will have the choice to turn off the company suggestion if they wish.

After this, Instagram assured that they will bring back a sequential feed option. (Exactly, a supply in reverse order).

Twitter, on the other hand, had already introduced that option, but many of its users were unaware of it. The current update will probably highlight the option – the spark button will be in the same place – and may even make the Twitter app much more convenient to use.

Along with considering and helping account user selection, displaying the “latest” tweets on a page is also great news for users, as the immediacy with which you get information is much more important than recommending some contents you have been. Missing. It is somewhat more useful now considering the posts related to “Russian invasion of Ukraine” as many people usually depend on these social networking platforms to get information about what is happening in the world.

In October, Twitter began testing the feature publicly, but now that they’re confident they’re getting the responses they want, they’re determined to roll it out widely.

Currently, the update is only available for iOS users, however, it will soon be accessible for Android and web users as well. When asked for a specific day, Twitter reported that it would be in the “next few weeks.”
