No one knows exactly what will happen to Beyoncé, but fans are pretty sure it’s something big. On Friday, June 10, all of her profile pictures on her social media accounts suddenly disappeared. Now, when you go to the music artist’s Instagram page, her profile picture is a blank gray figure. She also hadn’t posted since March and then suddenly dropped a bunch of new photos of her fabulous fashion on the timeline that same week.
Then some fans noticed that on Beyonce’s website, a funny thing happens when you type in the date, June 11th. A black image appears with Beyonce’s name titled “Image, B7”. It also appears when users search for “June 10,” according to vulture. This mysterious message has Bey Hive thinking that her seventh album is about to drop. In support of these rumors, recently her mother, Tina Knowles liked a post referring to these suggestions. Beyoncé’s last album was a huge hit Lemonadereleased in 2016, so fans have been waiting for a while.
In August 2021, she appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaarand gave a little insight into her music-making process and what a new Beyoncé album might sound like.
“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we’re all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” she said. “I feel like there’s a renaissance emerging and I want to be a part of educating this exodus in any way I can.”
She continued: “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes me a year to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. A chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. However, there is nothing like the amount of love, passion and healing I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, I feel as excited as I did when I was nine. Yes, the music is coming!”
