At the end of August, we heard about Twitter carrying out a revamp of its Twitter spaces. However, at the time, the feature was only available to a handful of users.
Now, however, the app is opening up the feature to all its Blue subscribers who have one iOS device. Moreover, it gives them the opportunity to get the right feel of podcasts, Spaces and even the best audio stations out there. All this thanks to the application that runs tests at Blue Labs.
For those who may not be aware, when the feature first came out, many saw it as an audio platform where users could have the best audio conversations with each other on a live basis. This included a host and a number of co-hosts.
So many people could attend the space at the same time and participate in this interesting audio venture. And then in August, he heard more about the platform repurposing the area to house various podcast ambitions.
The firm completely revamped Spaces to feature podcasts. And then there was a completely new interface that featured custom hubs that had different types of content topics like entertainment, news, music, sports and much more.
After a while, we saw the company include both types of content: live and recorded features. And then came a time when it also managed to incorporate the classic Spaces platformer.
What really makes this whole ordeal even more interesting is the fact that Twitter uses data from its users to see which recommendations should be displayed. Similarly, we will have so many listeners the opportunity to give their comments with likes and dislikes.
Overall, it’s designed to deliver the best audio experience out there. Another interesting feature is when a report from August showed how 45% of listeners were podcast converts. And this just gave rise to the idea of how the new project could be more related to hosting podcasts that are extremely interesting, once the application is strengthened to that extent.
If you happen to be a Blue subscriber on this app and have an iOS, then you don’t need to waste any more time and start enjoying the new Spaces audio feature.
There are podcasts and some specially curated audio for grabs that can be obtained by venturing into Blue Labs. But Spaces doesn’t just stop there. Users will also be given the option to upload longer and better quality videos. Similarly, they have the option to use NFT as their display as well.
On the other hand, users who subscribe to become Blue members will also be given the opportunity to benefit from features that are ad-free, custom app icons, multiple bookmarks, and the most popular undo button.
At the moment, the blue subscription offer is valid for those coming from the US, Australia and New Zealand. And while costs used to be just $3.99, they have increased to $4.99 per month.
