Take it technically, not literally
So much for one of the most underrated social platforms of 2022, huh?
From learning marketing, psychology and coding to getting actionable tips on how to live a healthier and happier life – Twitter has it all covered.
And they’re not just any other bad advice copied from some book or the internet. Real people share their experiences and insights about their brains right there.
My grads kept me busy and I regret not exploring Twitter in 2019. At that time, Twitter for me was just a social platform where many tweets and memes went viral.
I had planned to dive into Twitter for personal branding purposes in 2020 and I remember Threads not being a thing along with the 120 character limit.
How I got into Twitter
I deleted my previous account and started with a brand new one. Pretty soon, I noticed how threads were all the trends. But I’ll admit, the sheer amount of actionable advice in some of it was fascinating.
No college or school had ever given me such practical advice on topics that Twitter did. This excited me and I was about to double down on Twitter.
Fast forward to 2022, I’ve tweeted 3 times, along with content from other creators. Honestly, it’s been going great.
But consuming and creating content on Twitter are two different things.
From Startup Founders to Professors, Twitter is full of them. And the best part? They share all their tips and advice publicly, on Twitter. You’re literally getting it all, for free, at your fingertips.
But what you do with that knowledge, ignore it or act on it, is up to you.
I’ve seen people build startups, grow their social media following, and become great authors and marketers just by following a 3,000-word piece of advice on Twitter.
How Twitter is Underrated
You must ask yourself, “but Sarvam, what is the catch?” There is literally none. Everything on Twitter is free. From building your Personal Brand to networking and making friends – Twitter is literally a free University.
On the other hand, college education is not effective in the online world. Let’s take examples.
Look at the Scripture. College teaches us to prioritize grammar along with using sophisticated English.
But that’s not how it’s played in the online world. Writers prioritize what their readers want, not vocabulary. And 6th grade English is more popular online than fancy words.
There’s a lot more to Twitter than Education. Whether it’s about our relationships or how to manage our finances along with maintaining our health, Twitter has you covered.
Moving on, let me list the top creators in some popular countries. Who knows, you might benefit from their content,
Not every Twitter Creator is worth following. Most copy others while some try to find “Hacks” to grow faster. But the other 1% are the ones who create authentic, interesting and useful content. Check them out below.

Pro tip : If you’re just starting out and trying to create content, try curating content from other creators.
Personally, I think Twitter is much cleaner compared to other social platforms like Reddit and Instagram. Plus, you can become famous without showing your face.

You must have figured it out by now, Twitter is the winner for me. Schools and colleges were great for building a discipline, but Twitter is definitely in sync with the way the world works today.
