The Irish Times reports that the legal team for Twitter whistleblower Peiter Zatko has indicated a willingness to cooperate with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission in a possible investigation into his latest cyber security allegations. In his whistleblower claims, Zatko said Twitter made “egregious and persistent misrepresentations” to the DPC and other regulators about lax data security. The DPC held a preliminary meeting with Twitter following the allegations, but the regulator has yet to contact Zatko.
