Charlotte is going wild this weekend with dozens of Halloween parties across the city.
The big picture: In the past on Halloween, Charlotte’s biggest parties have centered on all-day bar crawls and Uptown clubs, but a new player has emerged: Queen’s Carnival.

- All in all, you’ll be dancing for 14 hours from Friday, October 28th until the late hours of Sunday, October 30th.
Plus: The Queen’s Carnival will feature local vendors, peddlers, art installations and catering from the famous Plaza Midwood Restaurant Soul Gastroloungewhich closed its brick-and-mortar location earlier this year.
- The event is organized by Preston Abernathy e Yopresto Projectsthe company is also behind a number of popular music series on Music Yard and Black Box.
- Abernathy tells Axios he expects about 2,000 people to attend.
Tickets: One-day general admission starts at $45.
- Two-day GA is $70.
- The cost of VIP tickets ranges from $65 for one day to $2,500 for premium bottle service for 12 people.
