Bangladesh enter the tournament as defending champions after winning their first U19 AFC Asian Cup title in 2023 by convincingly defeating the United Arab Emirates. However, with Bangladesh’s recent success and a strong squad, they cannot be overlooked as contenders this year.

The tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups:

  • Group A: India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Japan
  • Group B: Afghanistan, BangladeshNepal, Sri Lanka
