I want mine, I want my GPT!
When we think about artificial intelligence, it’s natural for some people to be a little…skeptical. After all, with so many machines “talking”, “thinking” and even “advising”, the inevitable question arises: are chatbots taking over? Well, for those who already use ChatGPT, the answer is simpler than it seems: not only are we not being invaded, but many can no longer live without it. (Yes, the need for a virtual assistant to remind you to drink water is real!)
More common than we can imagine, they are already everywhere: in customer service, in website chat replies and in WhatsApp automations. If interacting with people is pleasant (ok, not always…) with chatbots, things take another level of much deeper interaction in terms of accurate and objective information.
ChatGPT is the end of your creative block!
Who hasn’t looked at their computer screen with the feeling that Word was laughing softly, mocking their attempt to write something creative? That’s where ChatGPT comes in: with an abundance of ideas and words just a command away, it’s become the “brainstorming partner” that never complains or needs caffeine. Even better, he’s that teammate who practically knows everything and always has an answer for everything (even if, sometimes, he can’t understand certain expressions or has a sometimes lazy vocabulary, so to speak.
However, do not blame yourself: if Chat GPT or Gemini (or another virtual friend) does not give you the answer you want or that is in line with your thoughts, it was your fault: by defining a prompt (giving a command ) you must be as clear as possible and this may require a willingness to write correctly, revise, look for more details and, of course, add your own touch!
Productivity with AI: If work doesn’t save us from fatigue, at least now we have help to shorten tasks. Data replication? Summary of the report? It’s in the hands of AI, freeing up our brains for what really matters: thinking about how to make the next AI Productivity post look revolutionary.
Chatbots: A technological religion?
Today there are two realities: those who have never used a chatbot and those who cannot go a day without it. (People who say “I can’t live without GPT and Co” are not exaggerating, trust me!) With the help of AI in the routine, the concept of the “personal assistant” has changed: we no longer need a physical secretary, just a conversation. However, there are those who find this invasive, uncomfortable, even too futuristic. Could it be fear of the unknown? Or a slight paranoia that reminds us of a certain 1984? (any resemblance to current society will not be a mere coincidence… as I don’t believe in coincidences…)
The magic of virtual service
Anyone who works in customer service knows that AI conversations can be “angels and devils.” On the one hand, the ability to meet countless demands simultaneously is a feat worthy of applause. On the other hand… the chatbot doesn’t always understand exactly what the customer needs. (How many times have you, me, and the world yelled “TALK TO SOMEONE” into the text box? Yes.)
But good AI is evolving – or at least learning to joke around without creating chaos. AI conversations are learning from human frustration and evolving to create more intuitive experiences. Just imagine, a conversation that knows the right time to be sarcastic and the right time to be serious. (We’re almost there!)
When HE has personality
If you’ve ever talked to a good chatbot, you know that it sometimes seems to understand when a humorous response is more effective than technical analysis. A conversation with a sense of humor? Of course. In the age of autoresponders, there’s nothing like an AI that knows the value of a well-placed sarcastic comment.
And, after all, who wouldn’t want an assistant who understands (or at least pretends to understand) our most everyday ironies and outbursts? Of course, deep down, AI isn’t laughing or crying, but if it can make us smile, it’s already worth the investment.
And speaking of technology, let’s talk about the environment shall we?
After all, what planet do you want to leave to your children and grandchildren?
While we explore the many uses of ChatGPT, how about a pause to think about the planet? Take the opportunity to discover O Bosque da Colmeia Dourada ea Menaça da Fábrica de Plásticos, an inspiring story about environmental conservation, available on Amazon and ready for delivery in Rio. Because there’s no point in saving time with a chatbot if we don’t do the same for the world we live in.
