After offering activities of all kinds for more than a month to around fifteen autistic youngsters, the Adapei Day and Leisure Center organized a friendly and festive final day for them on August 11, at its premises in Le Lamentin. Opportunity for young people, as well as supervisors, to have fun but also to take stock of the past weeks.
Laughter and shouts of joy resonate as they approach, on this Thursday morning in August, the Adape Day Reception and Respite Center (CAJR). In the walled garden of the house located in the Petit-Morne district of Le Lamentin, a handful of youngsters set off in a sack race, to the encouragement and applause of their supervisors and other children. Others look more calmly at the moving pictures on the TV installed under the terrace….
