Yesterday evening (Sunday August 14), at 166 chemin La Treize, in the Palmiste district, in Le Lamentin, a 54-year-old woman was found dead, lying in a pool of blood. It was the neighbors and the companion of the victim who made the gruesome discovery and notified the police. A suspect is in custody. He is a childhood friend of the victim. He was present at the scene. Neighbors managed to subdue him before help arrived.
The house was closed.
