United Airlines will operate the new service beginning February 15, 2025, with flights departing from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) every Saturday. This marks the second direct flight route from the US to Dominica.
The decision to introduce this new route follows significant improvements at Dominica’s Douglas-Charles Airport, including a 6,351-foot runway extension and new runway groove, which increase safety, reduce flight cancellations and accommodate larger aircraft. big ones. This direct link from the tri-state area, one of Dominica’s largest source markets to the US, is expected to provide a major boost to the island’s tourism industry.
