Dallas, Texas – There are very few American brands that have survived a century in the state of Texas. Inspired by each other’s storied history and passionate fans that stretch across the state and far beyond, the two iconic brands today announced a multi-year sponsorship naming Lucchese the “Official Footwear Sponsor of Texas Athletics.” The partnership also includes the head football coach Steve Sarkisian featured in Lucchese’s advertising campaign with the Longhorns.
The sponsorship deal was negotiated with Lucchese by LEARFIELD’s Longhorn Sports Properties, the exclusive multimedia rights holder for University of Texas Athletics.

Lucchese and Texas Athletics will create a Texas-sized presence on game days and throughout the state, participating in joint marketing and advertising, as well as unique activations in the areas of Texas Football’s BEVO Blvd clubhouse and Memorial Stadium.
