USA Cricket have announced that they will host the West Indies U19 Women’s Team for a five (5) match bilateral T20I series at the Broward County Stadium in Florida from August 08 – 14, 2022. With both countries set to participate in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 U19 in South Africa, this series presents a good opportunity to prepare the squad members for a busy schedule early next year and will be the first matches of the youth T20I for both teams.
The series continues the collaboration between CWI (Cricket West Indies) and USA Cricket, which saw the USA Women’s U19 team participate in the Rising Stars U19 Women’s Championship in July 2022 in Trinidad and Tobago, where they emerged victorious after remaining undefeated all season. group stages of the tournament and recorded victories over Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Trinidad & Tobago and Windward Islands.
