LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The US Army Corps of Engineers, AGFC and other local agency partners met today at Murray and Lock and Dam for a water safety and recreation media event.
Agencies came together to remind the public to practice recreation and water safety ahead of Labor Day weekend.
USACE, AGFC, Arkansas Waterways Commission, North Little Rock Parks Service, Little Rock Parks and Recreation, Arkansas Department of Arkansas and Tourism, Coast Guard Auxiliary and Congressman Bruce Westerman’s office encourage everyone to wear a life jacket when in or near water, don’t drink alcohol and use a boat, never swim alone and stay in designated swimming areas.
