Envy is a feeling that is installed in childhood. You know that obsession that some parents have, that obsession with comparison? Because there is gravity, awakening a feeling of inferiority, thus inciting envy.
The incredible thing is that this feeling accompanies him into adulthood. It becomes clear that even a hint of envy is due to low self-esteem.
Then you ask me: how not to be jealous of the other? To like who you are, to feel gratitude for your life, to appreciate yourself and to stop rejecting yourself.
The envious person is never satisfied with his qualities and achievements, he always looks at what is wrong with him and does not filter out what is good. He has an immense desire to possess or enjoy what belongs to another.
Envy is something deep that corrodes the soul. Envy is one of the most negative emotions. Yes!
Possessed by it, you kill, try to destroy the lives of those around you, invent, lie. I call them devilishly envious.
I have some examples that I heard in class. I’ll pass on one that made me curious.
A person never gets tired of saying to his friend:
_ Your husband is much better than mine, yours does this, yours does that.
It’s funny that whoever listened said that the other’s husband was also good, only that she couldn’t see it, she always had a negative view of her life, and a wishful view of someone else’s life. You only want the bonus, not the burden. It filters only the good from the rest.
Understand! Envy doesn’t want what you have, he wants to be you. So simple! Does he understand?
Because the gaze is always focused on the other, it always ignores its own blessings, achievements. So it is in everything. Did you know?
Envy erodes a person, friendship, then you see yourself alone, without friends, without any form of love and affection. Sad isn’t it? But it’s true.
Let’s imagine now that you have this feeling. How can I recover?
I always say that in anything you have to want, plan and position yourself. You still need to understand that you cannot solve it alone, be honest with yourself and don’t be ashamed of yourself, you are not alone.
Ask for help. It’s not easy to transform, but you can do it. You, get whatever you want. You see, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. But, as my mother used to say, you are not all of us.
Come on!
Learn to appreciate the things you already have. This is the secret of contentment, which protects against envy. Be true to your values, beliefs and dreams. Always be willing to adapt.
Stop wanting to change things that cannot be changed, some, you can change, change, earn, train that will be changed. Others are immutable, like your family, nationality.
Accept it, everything will be easier and easier. Happiness is not having everything that others have, but enjoying what God gives you.
Be unstoppable, try to improve every day, be human every day, today better than yesterday. Accept challenges. Be natural, the supernatural will be guaranteed.
Believe in yourself!
