1/ Hook
A good shot is the MOST IMPORTANT aspect when writing topics.
To put things into perspective.
I spend more time formulating my hook than the thread itself.
Without it, the attraction won’t be there and the commitment won’t follow.
Writing tips for crafting a good hook:
• Answer your own problems, it’s likely that others are struggling with the same problems.
• Get inspiration from others (source below)
• Use numbers; people love numbers
• Integration of social evidence.
• Mystery is your friend!
2/ Body/Value
Divide your body into AT LEAST 3 sections.
Each section should provide a different solution to the problem addressed in the hook.
People on Twitter appreciate effort, write with conviction and your readers will engage!
Example of a hook and bare body:
Hook: Struggling with marketing? Here are 3 untapped sales channels!
Body 1: Twitter
Body 2: Pinterest
Body 3: Quora
Inside the organs, explain why they are underutilized and how to advertise in them.
3/ Conclusion/Relation
Revisit the hook and reiterate how it applies and benefits those you mentioned.
People want something of everything.
Don’t spend too much time on it, just keep it short and sweet.
Example using the previous scenario:
Bottom line: Use these platforms/strategies and you will become a Multi-Channel Marketing MACHINE!
4/ CTA (Call to Action)
This is where we cash in!
Follow your conclusion with a sharp and easy reason why someone should follow you.
Don’t forget to include your @
My CTA usually looks like this:
“This is a wrap! Did you like the theme?
If so, I guarantee you will find value in the type of content I curate every day!
My mom said she was going to kick me out of the house if I didn’t reach 1700 followers by the end of the month…
👉 @NFTpublisher”
5/ Quote RT
Here’s a little hack to squeeze another 1 or 2 RTs out of your readers!
1. Post your topic
2. Copy your opening/starter link
3. RT the thread starter
4. Boom, easy RTs
