Watch Serani shut down Manchester carnival with an adorable assist from Lottie

One of the best parts of summer is Carnival season, when Caribbean communities around the world come together to celebrate their culture with parades, food and entertainment. Everyone is invited to party, especially children, as the Manchester Carnival wonderfully demonstrated over the weekend.

Jamaican dancehall singer Serani took the stage for a performance and at one point, a young girl named Lottie joined her on stage. It’s unclear what brought her there, but she loves Serani’s 2008 hit “No Games,” and Serani generously takes the spotlight off his best-known song to let Lottie sing the chorus.

Serani is extremely sweet and gentle with her, and with the crowd taking her on so enthusiastically, the stage is set for the most adorable, dancehall-refresh-worthy performance you’ve ever seen. Check out some clips below, captured by TikTok user @andbonniejade.
