Waterloo Regional Police are Investigating a Sexual Assault on Joseph Street in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Downtown Kitchener.

On August 25, 2022, between 6:10 pm and 6:20 pm, a female was walking on Joseph Street near Water Street South when she was approached by a male riding a bicycle.

The male sexually assaulted the female and then left the area on a bicycle.

The male suspect was described as being in his late teens to early twenties, slim build, clean shaven, with curly hair that was cut shorter on the sides and riding a red bicycle.

The investigation is ongoing by Waterloo Regional Police Service Special Victims Unit investigators.
