Waterloo Regional Police Charge Driver after Vehicle Collides into a Residence in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged a driver after investigating a single vehicle crash in the area of ​​John Street West and Westmount Road in Waterloo.

On July 30, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a vehicle that crashed into a residence on John Street West.

The driver of the vehicle left the area, but was immediately located by the police.

As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operating while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration, dangerous driving and failure to stop.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on August 19, 2022.

The damage to the apartment was significant, but no physical injuries were reported.
