West Point Crab Carnival was a fun-filled success – Daily Press

WEST POINT – The 40th annual West Point Crab Carnival – held for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic – welcomed thousands of visitors to the streets of West Point on Saturday. The day’s events included the Tour de Crab children’s bike race, as well as a parade, vendors, live music, children’s activities and of course, crabs. The Main Street parade featured performers, bands, floats, vehicles, scouts, animals and more. “I loved the community participation,” said Tappahannock resident Jamie Patten, who attended the carnival for the first time. “The parade was great. It was great people watching and the vendors were all spectacular.”
