Twitter chief marketing officer Leslie Berland has become at least the ninth top executive to leave the company since Elon Musk took control last week, in what appears to be a virtual purge of top management.
The departures put a spotlight on Twitter’s employees, who are growing in prominence under Musk. They include Yoel Roth, head of security and integrity, who tweeted this week about the steps Twitter is taking to deal with offensive content. Musk endorsed Roth’s comments in a tweet.
