The second-string Indian side under captain Shikhar Dhawan prevailed in several thrillers over a span of three days to keep the hosts at bay and manage to win the matches and thus the series as they took an unassailable 2-0 lead in series. With a gap of two days before the final game of the series, the players had a day at the beach along with their families and some members of the support staff.

Surya himself shared a few videos where the likes of Ishan and Gill were excited about the boat ride from the hotel to the beach.
The youngsters have had a great time on the field as well. While skipper Shikhar Dhawan was the star with the bat in the first match, Gill provided the momentum early in the innings with a quick-ball 54-63 as the pair stitched a crucial 119-run stand.

Shreyas Iyer has cracked a couple of fifties, which will be a relief for him after a sub-par tour in England. Sanju Samson and Axar Patel did well with the bat in the second match, while Mohammed Siraj has been outstanding with the ball.
The visitors will look to sweep the series at the same venue, Queen’s Park Oval before some of the regulars return for the T20I series.
