Windies A share ODI series with Bangladesh A

West Indies A and Bangladesh A shared their unofficial ODI series 1-1 after the third and deciding match was left on Saturday at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, St Lucia.

West Indies set Bangladesh 239 for victory in the third unofficial ODI as former West Indies U19 batsman Teddy Bishop hit 60 off 83 balls.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul hit 43 while Justin Greaves scored 36 for West Indies A.

Medium pacer Rahaur Rahman Raja was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh A with 4 for 50, while Mohammed Mirttunjoy Chowdhury had 2 for 43.

Bangladesh A were 61 for 3 in 15.4 overs when the match had to be abandoned due to bad weather.

Shermon Lewis took 2 for 18, with Shamar Springer going 1 for 1 in his only over bowling.

For Bangladesh A, Soumya Sarkar was 30 not out at the end of the game.

The ODI series ended 1-1, while the unofficial Test series ended 0-0 with both matches tied.
