The large supply of fertilizers in Brazil has meant that new imports of this input, essential for agribusiness, are not being unloaded in the country.
The Swiss company Ameropa, for example, diverted a shipment previously destined for Brazilian manufacturers to the United States.
With almost 18,000 tons of phosphate-based fertilizer, the ship carrying Ameropa’s cargo arrived at the Port of Paranaguá, in the state of Parana, on September 13.
