Women’s Golf Central: Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, NC – The Tennessee women’s golf team is set to wrap up its fall competition this week at the Landfall Tradition, hosted by UNC Wilmington and scheduled to take place Oct. 25-27.

The tournament consists of a three-day, 54-hole event, with 18 holes played each day. The field consists of 18 teams, including six teams ranked in Golfweek’s top 25.

Vanessa Gilly

Last time out, Gilly shot two rounds of par or better to finish the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational tied for 12th at +1, posting the second-best finish of her collegiate career.

Bailey Davis

Davis finished the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational in 48th place (+12). The sophomore recorded a career-best performance at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in September, shooting -10 to tie for second place.

Manassanan Chotikabhukkana

At the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational, Chotikabhukkana posted her best finish of the season, where she tied for 24th (+6), marking the first top-25 finish of her young college career.

Kayla Holden

Holden finished the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational tied for 43rd at +11. The junior’s best performance of the season came at the Illini Women’s Invitational in Medinah earlier this month, where she shot two under-par scores to tie for 23rd, posting a fourth-place finish in top-25 of her career.

Caroline Patterson

Patterson finishes tied for 40th (+10) at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational. The freshman posted her best performance of the season at the Illini Women’s Invitational in Medinah in early October, shooting -5 to tie for 19th, the highest finish of her young Lady career Vol.
