The Phillies took Game 1 from Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros, rallying from an early 5-0 deficit and winning on JT Realmuto’s 10th home run. The winner of Game 1 has won the last four World Series and 13 of the last 16 World Series. Amazingly, the Astros have lost seven of their last eight World Series games in Houston dating back to Game 1 in 2019.
