Wrongful Death Suit Claims Carnival Cruise Is Liable for Drowning During Snorkeling Excursion

Carnival Cruise and Vallarta Adventures were hit with a wrongful-death lawsuit Monday in Florida’s Southern District Court. The lawsuit was filed by Lipcon Margulies & Winkleman on behalf of the estate of Donna Faye Nelson, who drowned in a snorkeling incident off the coast of Mexico while on a Carnival Panorama excursion. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-22587, Blow et al. c. Carnival Corp. et al.
