WRPS Continue to Investigate after Several Youths Transported to Hospital

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing their investigation after several youths in Waterloo were transported to hospital after suspected drug use.

On November 2, 2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police received reports of seven youths experiencing drowsiness and difficulty breathing after consuming suspected drugs in the area of ​​University Avenue and Fischer Hallman Road.

At this time, the specific substance(s) consumed in this incident is undetermined.

The investigation is ongoing by the WRPS General Investigations Unit.
