Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing their investigation after several youths in Waterloo were transported to hospital after suspected drug use.
On November 2, 2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police received reports of seven youths experiencing drowsiness and difficulty breathing after consuming suspected drugs in the area of University Avenue and Fischer Hallman Road.
At this time, the specific substance(s) consumed in this incident is undetermined.
The investigation is ongoing by the WRPS General Investigations Unit.
