WRPS Continue to Investigate Residential Fire in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On August 14, 2022, at approximately 8:40 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of ​​Albert Street and Hickory Street West in Waterloo for reports of a residential fire.

The occupants were evacuated from the residence and a male was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries from the fire.

Firefighters in Waterloo extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, but remains under investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office.
