Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Unit is investigating a collision with a pedestrian that occurred on August 29, 2022.
At approximately 8:35 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Weber Street West and Victoria Street North in Kitchener.
Through investigation, police determined that a pedestrian was crossing on Victoria Street northbound when he was struck by a vehicle.
As a result of the crash, the pedestrian, a 33-year-old female, was transported by Waterloo Region Paramedic Services to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
