A group of independent developers did Dogecoin DOGE/USD advice for Twitter Inc TWTR possible with a DOGE type bot.
What happened: In an announcement on Reddit’s Dogecoin community forum, the developers announced that they have deployed the SoDogeTip bot on Twitter so that users can send DOGE tips via tweets.
“This is the Twitter version of the bot we’ve been using on reddit since 2017,” Mishaboar said on Twitter, sharing details on how to sign up for the service and claim tips.
If one #dogtip that you sent is not claimed for more than three days, the amount is returned to your account.
You can withdraw from yours @sodogetip Dogecoin address by interacting with the bot via DM; you can also deposit #Dogecoin to yours @sodogetip address.

Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus praised the announcement, advising users to be cautious about leaving crypto in their wallets for long periods of time.
“For some caution, and this is not at all suspicious of the developer as he has been doing this for a very long time and is trusted, but things can happen and access can be lost or accounts can be removed so it is recommended not to leave crypto to very long tip wallet!” Marcus said.
like @BillyM2k stressed, don’t use this bot to keep more than you need to tip others. This is not a wallet.
While the developer is a trusted member of the community, bugs and security issues do happen. Have fun with it, but be smart!https://t.co/ckaMq9FWO4

Earlier this year, Markus described the DOGE tip as one of the best use cases for meme-based cryptocurrency.
In 2014, Dogecoin went wild because it was used as a tipping currency – the reddit tip bot made millions of doge transactions.
I would like to see the community return to that culture. Tipping is one of the best use cases. It adds new users, spreads DOGE and is fun.
