Organizing the first carnival parade after the pandemic, which takes place on Sunday, has not been easy.
Many marching bands that are a traditional feature are still struggling to reform after losing members to Covid-19.
However, despite the setbacks, organizers in Skegness are defiant the show will go ahead.
“We know there are some big floats coming, but we’re inviting anyone who wants to be involved to come and join the parade,” committee member Ady Findley said.
“It’s been really hard to get it ready this year, but let’s do the parade of people – I think it’s going to be fantastic.”
